Lynn Haven 4th of July Celebration
Join us for Lynn Haven’s Fourth of July Celebration on Thursday, July 4th, 2024! This is a fantastic all-day event for the whole family to enjoy, and best of all, it’s free!
The day begins with a $7 All-You-Can-Eat pancake breakfast sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lynn Haven, at the Senior Activity Club (905 Pennsylvania Ave.) from 6-9 a.m. The opening ceremony for the “America: Home of the Brave,” will begin at 8 a.m. at the junction of 9th St. and Hwy 77. At 9 a.m., over 60 floats will travel down Highway 77 beginning. and ending the route at 11th street. Residents will also line up along 5th street to watch the beginning of the parade at 8:45 a.m. During the parade, attendees will also witness F-35s flyover performed by 325 FW at 9:15 a.m. Festivities at Sharon Sheffield Park will also begin at 9 a.m. to include rock climbing, axe throwing, a mechanical bull, stilt walkers, balloon artists, face painters, vendor booths, food trucks, games, and more!
The “Let Freedom Ring” concert begins at 6 p.m. at A.L. Kinsaul Park with local talent, Gr8ful Dads. At 7:30 p.m. Nashville’s star Deana Carter will take to the stage. Food trucks, vendors, yard games, and free photos from the Gypsy Belle photo bus will all be a part of this amazing night. The grand finale tops off the night at 9 p.m. with a spectacular 25-minute fireworks show. Lynn Haven’s City Manager, Vickie Gainer, commented, “I’m thrilled about this year’s celebration, it will be one to remember. Our Fourth of July Celebration is one of Bay County’s largest, and we invite everyone to Lynn Haven to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the entire day.”
